About the artist: Sandra Hamlin

Sandra was born February 7, 1959 in Mt Clemens, the daughter of Duaine and Darlene (Bader) Hamlin.  Sandra graduated from Romeo High School in 1977 and then went to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Wayne State University. For many years, she was a substitute teacher in the Macomb/Oakland County area schools.  As showcased in her art collection here, she was artistically inclined, where she was well known for her oil, watercolors, and pencil drawings.

While the themes of her art is wide ranging the most prominent are the following:

  • Capturing the human body in motion

  • Marketing imagery and potential brand concepts

  • Music

This website and collection of art work was created post posthumously to share the talents of Sandra and motivate others to be creative and “think outside the box”
